In BCNaval Tours we are committed to sustainability and respect for the environment and we want to share with the rest of the world the experience of sailing with two boats that emit less carbon than any of the smaller boats.

The first ecological maritime passenger catamaran in Europe designed and built entirely in Catalonia
The boat is 100% ecological. Thus reducing CO2 emissions thanks to its ecological propulsion system:

ECOSAIL
Europe’s largest hybrid hybrid sailing catamaran in Europe
Electric diesel hybrid mechanical propulsion, with a candle to reinforce
classic and sustainable navigation.
Three propulsion systems: diesel engines and electric and sail engines.
Ecological propulsion system:
– Energy efficiency.
– Simplicity of operation and maintenance.
– Great autonomy with great responsiveness so that the batteries of electric motors are
they load during diesel navigation.

Sustainable Initiatives
Renewable energies
The boat Eco Slim is powered by electricity from the
recharges in port and for renewable energies (photovoltaic panels and wind turbines).
Sailing

Sustainable use of water
All boats have taps with low power water outlet, water-saving cisterns and all cleaning hoses have a diffuser.
Biodegradable glasses
We use fully recyclable biodegradable glasses in order to reduce the consumption of plastic helping to reduce the impact on the environment.
Waste separation
We have waste separation bins on all boats.
Paper minimization
We use electronics whenever possible for ticket validation and passenger control using tickets with QR codes.
Ecological lighting
The boats are designed with large spaces to take advantage of all the natural light without having to use artificial lighting
When this is not possible, all our boats have LED lighting, making this lighting more durable and eco-efficient.
Educational activities
We offer the possibility of navigating and knowing the importance of respecting the environment. With storytellers or crafts for the little ones and a field notebook for the elderly.
